AUTUMN SIMILES

We are learning to use language features in our writing: AUTUMN SIMILES

Autumn leaves are like a blazing sun falling from the sky.
Autumn leaves are red like fire.
The leaves are as brown as a freckle.
When you step on the leaves they are as crunchy as glass.
I like leaves.
By Hunter

Autumn leaves blow in the wind like a ballet dancer.
The leaves are yellow and red and brown like a tree trunk.
Trees are bare like a naked man.
Leaves fall down as quick as an ant.
Autumn leaves crackle like a branch cracking.
By Matthew

The leaves twirl in the wind like tornadoes.
Autumn leaves are colourful like a rainbow.
The leaves are orange like a crackling fire.
The leaves crackle like chips.
When autumn leaves fall from the trees they float onto the ground like a feather.
